The Hand was taken over by new manangement in December 2009 and built in 1610 during the reign of James I, we are one of the oldest hotels in north-east Wales and has a tastefully modernised withoutlosing its historical character. The hotel was initially a coaching inn serving the Shrewsbury to Betws-y-Coed section of the London to Holyhead coaching route. Now under new management, we have striven to revive the hotels former glory.
