About the Business

The White Lion Hotel is situated in Yate Town Centre and borders Bristol at the southern end of the Cotswold escarpment. The beautiful town of Chipping Sodbury is a stone's throw away, while Highgrove House, home to Prince Charles, is located some 15 miles north east. The White Lion has been trading as an Inn since 1644 and the hotel has seen many changes over the many decades since! Originally it was a small inn, with single accommodation upstairs, but there has been a series of extensions added over the years to transform it into a large hotel with two bars, functions room, lounge, dining area and lots more besides.
