We stayed at The Grand for the night of our 1st anniversary and again stayed in the the same bridal suite as we did on our wedding night. Again all the staff were very friendly and extremely professional. We had an evening meal (3 courses) which was fantastic, followed by the best sleep i have had in a long time in the most comfortable of beds. i would highly recommend this gem of a hotel. We will be back!
We stayed for one night this weekend and we could not have been more comfortable if we had tried! The room was gorgeous with a lovely comfortable bed, and a shower room with a rain shower! The breakfast in the morning was fantastic, even catering for awkward me who is vegetarian and can only have decaf tea! We have now booked to come back in a few weeks for 2 nights and we're staying in an executive room and we can't wait. This time we intend to try the restaurant for dinner as we have heard many good things about it.
We live local & treated ourselves to a nights stay in a more luxurious double room with sea view! We have nothing but excellent things to say about the whole experience... beautiful rooms & decor throughout & the history that goes with the place makes it even more special! Well worth the money!
We had our wedding here on Saturday and had the most amazing day from start to finish. The staff made sure there were no hiccups, amazing food day and night. Staff so lovely. Toastmaster amazing. Honeymoon suite beautiful. Such a beautiful venue.
Just visited for dinner, bed and breakfast to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Stayed in the honeymoon suite to mark the occasion. Could not find fault in anything. Friendly and attentive staff, lovely food and comfortable surroundings.
