About the Business
Independently run by the Marsden family since opening in 1999, the Lodge has built up a reputation for friendliness and excellent accommodation at sensible prices. We are located in the town centre, off Lord Street, below the Methodist Mission along a stone cobble lane in former years the location of the old town well.
Within 500 meters you will find the Huddersfield Sports Centre, University of Huddersfield, Kingsgate Shopping Centre, The Lawrence Batley Theatre, the Railway Station and Bus Station. Some of the rooms are "studio rooms" and have self-contained kitchenette with dining area, ideal for extended stay visitors.
