Founded in 1923 as a nine hole course, many further improvements to the original layout have resulted in the splendid 18 hole par 72 championship golf course of today set in 192 acres of mature parkland, frequented by Nick Dougherty who grew up playing on the course. Shaw Hill boasts a fine dining restaurant, Vardons' offers classical dishes with a modern twist. Our Head Chef prides himself on using high quality locally sourced produce where possible to produce the ultimate dining experience for every occasion, a lounge serving lite bites and several bars. Families welcome, book our Early Bird Offer of a two course dinner for only £10.95 or three course for £15.95 available Monday to Thursday 6.00pm - 6.45pm. Or join us for Family Sunday Lunch served 12.30pm until 14.30 & 17.30 until 8.00pm.
