About the Business
The Cliff Lawn' provides superior guest accommodation as a bed and breakfast establishment in Leeds combined with a friendly personalised service. Originally the Victorian home of a local mill owner, the property was converted to a Hotel some time ago. Purchased by the current owners in December 2007, the property has since gone through a continued program of improvements, refurbishment and modernisation. This has resulted in the English Tourist Board upgrading the star rating from 3 to 4 star guest accommodation. Photos of all our rooms can be found on the 'rooms' page. We are less than 1½ miles from the City Centre and, less than a mile from the main Parkinson building at the University, and in our opinion, the property enjoys very quiet surroundings, being set completely in our own grounds. As well as our proximity to the Leeds Central Business District and University we make an ideal base for visits to York, Harrogate, the Yorkshire Dales, Moors and Bronte country.
