For those that wish to relax, we are just 2 minutes walk from a 7 mile stretch of beach which runs from the South Gare lighthouse (look out for the seals) along to Saltburn with its Victoria pier and dominating cliffs. With local rail links to Saltburn, Middlesbrough, Whitby and Darlington, Redcar is the ideal base from which to explore the fantastic area of North Yorkshire.
