Your host, Shelley, aims to make her guests feel at home serving great food, comfortable accommodation and exceptional hospitality. The hotel is within a few minutes stroll of the famous Buxton Opera House, where various events are held, including the Gilbert and Sullivan Festival and Buxton Opera Festival.

Buxton is ideally situated for touring the Peak District National Park, offering a wonderful walking, cycling, caving and rock climbing environment. The twice weekly Buxton Market and Town Centre are within easy reach of the Westminster Hotel as are the Buxton Museum and Art Gallery. The main entrance to the Westminster is from Broad Walk, a leafy pedestrian walkway running along the edge of the Pavilion Gardens.
