The Tower Hotel is a small family run hotel, restaurant and award winning public bar in the mid-Wales town of Talgarth, at the foot of the Black Mountains in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
The Tower Hotel is set amongst some of the most beautiful scenery in the Brecon Beacons, nestled at the foot of the Black Mountains. Conveniently situated only 6 miles from the famous book selling town of Hay-on-Wye with its literature festivals and 10 miles from Brecon, a town renowned for its annual jazz festival. Talgarth hosts a popular family festival in August, and the increasingly popular Talgarth Walking Festival is hosted on May Bank Holiday weekend.
The Tower Hotel was built in 1873 for the gentleman fars to attend the livestock market, which still exists.
