There are so many reasons to visit this part of Yorkshire and we very much want to play our part, firstly in attracting you to come here and secondly in ensuring that you enjoy your stay to the full. Naturally we've tried to make sure that everything has been brought up to the level that you would expect of a modern hotel, whilst retaining the character of the original historic building. To put our family's stamp on the hotel we have strived in all areas to produce a classic and timeless place to stay.

Hopefully you will find the Talbot Hotel traditional and relaxing. With Malton's growing reputation as a food town we're thrilled the hotel restaurant makes the most of the famous local produce. We are also delighted to now offer guests lessons in our new venture the 'Malton Cookery School'.
