About the Business
The Castle Hotel is an 18th Century Coaching Inn, ideally situated in the centre of the picturesque Wiltshire market town of Devizes. We have 19 bedrooms over the first and second floors, with a traditional bar and separate restaurant below, both with roaring log fires for those cold winter evenings. The Castle Hotel Devizes provides the perfect location for a short break; with some fabulous historical icons such as Stonehenge, Caen Hill locks, and Avebury Stones.
A short drive from The City of Bath, The Avon and Kennet Canal and the very mysterious Crop Circles all just on our doorstep. Not to mention the beautiful Wiltshire countryside villages, hosting two of the infamous white horses. Devizes boasts an intriguing history itself, an original market town based upon a hollow market square, original 18th and 19th Century buildings such as ourselves and the Famous Wadworths Brewery sat just at the end of our street.
