About the Business
Welcome to Middleham, location of Richard the Third's Castle and horse racing capital of the north. Richard the Third Hotel lies in the centre of Middleham overlooking the little market square. We have the pleasure of the castle behind us and the clip-clopping of the horses going past our front door every morning. With views over the dale, it is a lovely place to spend a night or a few days. We are open every day, all day and provide breakfast, morning coffees, lunches, afternoon teas and dinner. We serve food ALL DAY on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday - our Sunday Lunches are very popular so it is advisable to book! We have everything to make your visit with us perfect. You may wish to stay overnight or for a few days, dine with us, hold your meeting in our private dining room or just have a drink with some of the locals in the bar and maybe get some racing tips along the way! We look forward to making your stay a relaxing and happy one.
