The Downshire Arms Hotel was built in 1816 and is a fine example of an old Georgian Coaching Inn. Although the hotel has been modernised it still retains many of its original features. It has been owned by the Heslip family for over 50 years and is renowned for it's warm welcome only to be expected in a family run business.
