Nestled alongside the Ceres Burn, Meldrums Hotel is a mid-19th century coaching inn that marries Iberian cuisine with the rustic charm of Scottish hospitality. The aged oak and timber of our historic buildings offer an intimate and warm setting in which to dine and to stay.
Our suite of rooms are a home away from home and are ideal for those wishing to absorb the culture and history of Edinburgh and St Andrews or to escape to the wilds of the Highlands. Our menus are eclectic. We source our ingredients from local farmers and merchants and complement them with the finest imported cheeses, meats - including the Pata Negra - and spices. Our dishes embody the very best of Iberian cuisine.
Our hope is that Meldrums offers a little something for everybody: an intimate setting for a romantic supper; simple surroundings in which to sleep; a chance to gossip over a seasonal lunch; a menu to tempt the youngest - and fussiest - gourmands; and ales and wines to match every gastronomic delight.
