The Alum Dene Hotel, originally a Victorian residence built in 1884, was converted to a hotel in the 1950s and still retains many of its original features. David and Rita have run this family business for over 20 years. Ensuring that guests can look forward to a relaxing and enjoyable stay the proprietors, David and Rita, create a warm and happy atmosphere by providing good, efficient and friendly personal service, always. Bournemouth, on the south coast of England, is an elegant and attractive coastal resort in a south facing sheltered bay with seven miles of golden sands.
Bournemouth offers sandy beaches with an award winning blue flag beach only 2 min walk from the hotel and zoned watersports. Restaurants, cafes and family diners are much in evidence along the mainly traffic free promenade. Alum Chine offers the ideal location to explore both Bournemouth and nearby Poole.
